St. George Airport Closure

St. George Regional Airport Closure

The St. George Regional Airport will be closing for repair on May 29th of 2019 and will be reopening on September 26th of 2019. This closure is due to movement in the soil below the runway, causing damage to the asphalt.

Recently, the St. George City Council approved a bid for $23.7 million for these repairs, while 90% of the project costs will be covered by the Federal Aviation Administration. The St. George Regional Airport will be open through Memorial Day weekend and then closed for nearly four months.
